About the region

Penedés is a world renowned region for producing Cava, a champaign-like sparkling white wine. More than 300 sunny days a year and its proximity to the Mediterranean sea make up for a priviledged winemaking territory.

Itinerary

9:00am-9:20am Hotel pick up in Castelldefels or pre-arranged pick up location.

10:00am Arrival to Penedés. You will enjoy walking the vineyards on a guided visit with a sommelier. Delight your eyes with magnificent views of the whole region. An interesting tour through the history of the winery, an explanation of the vine cycle and organic farming continued with a visit to the facilities where the cavas are produced, ending with a tasting of 3 Reserva Cavas and light appetizer.

12:00am Departure from vineyard

13:00pm Arrival in Castelldefels.
